CONDITIONS
WE TREAT
ARTHRITIS
Whether it is age-related or a diagnosis of osteoarthritis, physical therapy can help! Improving the strength of the muscles that support your achy joints has been proved to help with pain and function. PT can address weaknesses, improve poor movement patterns, and use manual therapy to decrease pain.
BALANCE & GAIT
It’s true, if you don’t use it you lose it! Balance is something that gets worse as we age, but the good news is that just like a muscle, you can strengthen your balance. You don’t have to feel unsteady or nervous walking, physical therapy can help you improve gait and balance so you can stay safe, get out and enjoy life however you wish.
NEUROLOGICAL CONDITIONS
Some conditions are progressive like Parkinson’s and Multiple Sclerosis, others are consistent like foot drop or weakness.
Physical therapy can help with both by addressing the nervous system to improve or maintain your coordination, muscle strength, gait, balance, and more so you can lead a full and active life
SPRAINS & STRAINS
TENDONITIS & BURSITIS
Chronic sprains and strains can lead to pain and decreased strength which can cause instability and repeat injuries.
Tendonitis and bursitis are typically caused by repetitive use and increased force on the tendon or bursa due to movement dysfunction. PT can help address the root cause of the movement dysfunction and help you build strength to decrease pain and get you back to what you love to do.
AUTO & WORK INJURIES
Injuries that occur at work or in auto accidents can range from neck/back pain to needing surgery. We can help with rehabilitation of any injuries that occur on the job or in an auto accident and accept insurance from workman's compensation.
CHRONIC PAIN
Chronic pain can include headaches, joint pain or muscle pain.
It can limit your daily activities. Physical therapy can help break the cycle of pain - weakness - inactivity by using hands-on treatment, stretching, dry needling and education about the cause of pain.
POST SURGICAL CONDITIONS
Joint replacements, tendon repairs, discectomies, and more are things we as PT’s treat every day.
The post operative time can be overwhelming and painful. Physical therapy helps you get back your range of motion, strength, and neurological function after surgery.
It can also help with pain management and knowing when you’re ready to get back to what you love.
